In Bangladesh carrying ethnic
minorities are Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Tanchangya, Garo, Khumi Manipuri
etc. in several regions of the country. Specially In CHT. Having several
massacres of indigenous peoples in the CHT(Chittagong
Hill Tract), whose social, cultural and economic conditions distinguish
them from other sections of the national in Bangladesh.
The indigenous peoples differ in physical features, culture and religion
from Bengali population of Bangladesh. But, now a days Bangladesh
constitution nor any international laws recognize these people as
indigenous. Though the Government was said before!
